Salmon is quickly becoming my favorite Superfood. There are many benefits to eat salmon regularly with one of them that works on your metabolism: The Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin-D and selenium, together help increase influence of insulin, thereby facilitating absorption of sugar and consequent lowering of blood sugar level. Because I really was unkind to my body (and liver) last week in NYC, I made a conscious effort to really cook as healthy as I could this week...not to mention we are leaving for the Bahamas this week!
